In order for men to grow and reach their full potential for Christ they must be stretched and challenged mentally, emotionally, physically, and Spiritually. This can be accomplished most effectively by “iron sharpening iron,” and continued opportunities to encounter the Holy Spirit.
It is critical to unite the men of Gate City and rally them into action for Christ. This begins in their families, moves to the community, then to the nation. Our purpose is to win back the territory of men’s hearts for Christ Jesus and promote a lifestyle of service and commitment to support each other. This can be accomplished most effectively through the following strategy:
- Encouragement- Motivate men to action by gathering together for fellowship with men of likeminded interests and a distinct purpose of promoting Spiritual Growth.
- Equip- Provide thought provoking, insightful information that addresses the specific needs of men in our community.
- Empowerment- This combines the power of motivation with the education received and releases men into life changing ministry opportunities that greatly impact the world for Christ.
Our Foundational Verse is Joshua 1:14-
“Now the Lord has given you this land east of the Jordan River. Your wives, children, and animals may stay here, but your fighting men must dress for war and cross the Jordan River ahead of your brothers to help them.”
